The Multi-Party CCR Consultant Agreement envisions three clients: Knowledgeable and trustworthy construction owner, architect and constructor seeking to become parties to a ConsensusDOCS 300 agreement and collaboratively deliver a first class project. We have a single Client CCR Consultant Agreement, but in most instances clients will be best served by the Multi-Party Consulting Agreement.
The CCR Multi-Party Consulting Agreement linked above is not the actual ConsensusDOCS 300, but a vehicle for prospective parties to a ConsensusDOCS 300 to learn about, then at their option, prepare for, then finally negotiate, finalize and execute a formal ConsensusDOCS 300 agreement. Potential single parties to ConsensusDOCS 300 should reach out to knowledgeable and trustworthy collaborative partners and enter into the CCR Multi-Party Consulting Agreement with those partners. Single parties should forward the Sample CCR Multi-Party Consulting Agreement, the Special Features list below, information regarding CCR, a sample ConsensusDOCS 300 and other informative materials to their potential collaborative partners. CCR is always willing to initially meet, informally and without charge, with prospective CCR Consultant Agreement Clients, first individually, then together with all prospective CCR Consultant Agreement Clients. ◼ Special Features of CCR's Multi-Party Consulting Agreement + CCR Base Services/Optional Services: CCR clients are only obligated at a minimum for CCR Base Consultant Services, a half-day introduction meeting at a cost of $850, plus expenses. All of the other CCR Consultant Services are Optional Consultant Services and are only provided and paid for if our clients continue to move through the Implementation/Positioning Stage to the Project Specific Stage (on one or more Projects). As such, if our CCR clients are not getting along or not working well together, lose interest in the process/form of project delivery/agreement or each other, then the CCR Multi-Party Consulting Agreement can be terminated at any Stage. Regardless, all CCR clients will be better positioned in the market when armed with the knowledge CCR provides. CCR clients will eventually be able to access a CCR or CCR-affiliated website to review timely information from the front-lines of the BIM/Collaborative Project Delivery/Agreements/Lean Construction Revolution!
Sharing costs, risks and rewards: Under the CCR Multi-Party Consulting Agreement, all CCR clients share equally in the payment of CCR's fees and expenses. Different payment arrangements can be made between our clients but we highly recommend sharing clients share the costs because this will promote the all-for-one-and-one-for-all mentality that the CCR clients will need to develop to succeed as collaborative partners. Clients Collaborate Right From The Start: CCR clients learn collaboratively together, as they work alongside trusted business partners to prepare and position themselves to take advantage of these exciting new tools and to pursue specific projects as parties to ConsensusDOCS 300. Participation of Clients' Key Advisors: CCR invites extended Staff, Legal Advisors, Risk Managers, IT Staff or Consultants, and all other key advisors of CCR's clients to participate. All of our clients' relevant decision-makers, stakeholders and professional advisors, both in-house and outside, are expected to participate, where appropriate, under CCR's Multi-Party Consulting Agreement. Building Strategic Alliances: CCR's clients will use the Multi-Party Consulting Agreement to build strategic alliances with one another. Construction owners will have the opportunity test their relationship with prospective architects and constructors and vice versa. Prospective project participants can get 'engaged' to, or extensively interview and evaluate one another through the CCR Multi-Party Consultant Services before getting 'married' by signing a ConsensusDOCS 300. This is particularly important given that the ConsensusDOCS 300 represents a completely new way of doing business, a new construction project delivery method and new agreement obligations. The Ultimate Marketing Tool: CCR clients will find the Multi-Party Consulting Agreement to be an excellent vehicle for marketing their services to one another and to the broader construction industry market. The Owner will enhance its ability to identify and select highly competent architects and constructors, while those entities will significantly enhance their ability to get hired on specific projects. The collaborative process the clients will experience via the Multi-Party Consulting Agreement will be far superior to any marketing meeting or RFP driven interview. Instead, the architect and constructor's participation in a CCR Multi-Party Consulting Agreement allows the architect and constructor to extensively audition for a place at the ConsensusDOCS 300 table through a series of collaborative meetings. In that environment, the prospective construction owner, architect and constructor will learn whether their co-collaborators are knowledgeable and trustworthy business partners. Fundamentally, participation in a CCR Multi-Party Consulting Agreement will allow the parties to demonstrate their competence, compatibility and commitment to one another.
